Stake Out
Unlike the attempt from the year before, and despite it’s spectacular cover, any regular reader of the Magazine would balk at paying double the price for something they’d already read.

But Buffy fans snap up anything and everything, and this Yearbook sold out, despite everything other than 15 pages out of the 100 being material from the past year of Buffy Magazine. Perhaps they missed a trick – if they’d gone further back to some of those out-of-print interviews, maybe the general readership would have improved. Unfortunately, despite this, the next two yearbooks would repeat the process, leading regular readers disappointed with a celebratory book that was hardly original.
