“It’s gonna be an adjustment.“
Willow, ‘The Freshman’

Hi readers — and welcome back. The summer hiatus is officially over, the lights are back on in the Library, and The Watcher’s Guide is ready to dive straight into a packed week of new additions. We hope you enjoyed the break, avoided any demon‑related mishaps, and didn’t throw any parties where the guests turned on you. Buffy would understand.
This week’s schedule is a busy one.
We’re opening with two new Buffy Spotlights, beginning Season Three properly with Anne and Dead Man’s Party — two episodes that remind us that coming home is never simple, and sometimes the undead are easier to deal with than your friends.
Our ongoing journey through the Official Buffy and Angel Magazines from Titan continues, charting the fandom, the interviews, and the era as the magazines evolve.
Over in the ‘Verse, we begin Firefly: Leaves on the Wind with Part One, picking up the story after Serenity and following the crew into the next chapter of their fight. And at long last, the first episode of The Nevers joins the Guide, beginning our exploration of its world, its mythology, and the threads that tie it together. Set in Victorian Era London, destiny chooses its champions whether they’re ready or not. Our coverage begins with Episode One, and trust us… nothing in your textbooks will help you now…

It’s so good to be back.
And don’t forget to revisit the Prologue to Buffy: Season 12 — More Than One Year Later — before diving into our promos for the arc below. Trust us, gang, nothing will prepare you for the ending…
Now, we’ve come back from our hols with shrunken heads a plenty. Damn, Tibetan monks… It was my favourite shirt as well…
Be Seeing Ya…
