Nothing is known except her name, and it’s not certain that’s the truth. The Academy’s ultimate weapon, Kalista was part of the same programme that meddled with River Tam.
But she was different. She became an Operative, fierce and unstoppable. A reputation smeared in fear and gore. And eventually she found the one thing that kept her calm: the other Academy girls. She took them and moulded them like a general trains an army. And she’d do anything to reunite them… and that includes River Tam….
