Hello readers — and welcome to all our new subscribers! Your support means everything. The Watcher’s Guide started as a simple transfer project of info from the old site, but it’s grown into a full‑scale BuffyVerse resource that hopefully has everything a Buffy fan could need. It’s been a joy building it, and we’re thrilled to have you with us.

It’s been a tough time for the fandom. Losing a new project was one thing, but losing Michelle, Nicholas, and Anthony was a heartbreak felt across the world. They were loved, celebrated, and unforgettable. Everything we do here is dedicated to their memory.

Today marks a milestone: one hundred posts in one hundred days — a personal record we never expected to hit. And with that achievement, we officially begin our summer hiatus. We’ll return on the 7th of September, and trust us, there’s plenty waiting in the wings.

The final stretch of the Official Buffy and Angel magazines is ready as their runs merge. There’s tons of classic interviews with our favourite cast members as the shows ended and they started to reflect in some rather poignant tales.

During the break, we’ll be watching The Nevers in full to prepare that section of the Resource. The first half of our Buffy Season Three Spotlights is polished and ready to go. More adventures from the crew of Serenity are lined up, continuing their story after the film. And at long last — after teasing it forever — Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 12 begins.

The Reckoning is a four‑part story that closes Buffy’s journey. Set in 2011, Buffy turns thirty and finds herself adrift, single, and watching life move forward around her while Slaying grows quiet. A party with the Scoobies brings comfort, with a few surprises along the way, until Angel and Illyria arrive with news that dark forces are ready to strike back. What follows is the battle that will decide the future – for everyone.

We’re spreading out the four chapters so we can dive deep into each one. It’s a rollercoaster, a finale worthy of the BuffyVerse, and yes — some very unexpected faces return. The hints are already scattered across the site if you look closely…

The next year of posts is already mapped out, and we’re planning something big for Buffy’s birthday in March. We’re not going anywhere, and there’s a lot more to come…
