Vicki

“Our towns infested with these mindless animals because you messed up magic. Your mess. Your clean-up.”

Vicki rose from a nest of zompires in Santa Rosita at the moment the Seed of Wonder was restored, awakening as one of the first “new” vampires — stronger, smarter, and capable of shapeshifting into a giant bat. She quickly asserted dominance, leading her fledgling pack into battle alongside Buffy and the Scoobies, not out of loyalty but to clear the field so she could test herself against the Slayer.

Back in San Francisco, Vicki became an unlikely political figure. Through Harmony Kendall’s mediation, she agreed to limit her species’ daylight shapeshifting and abide by the Harmony Rules, forging a tense truce between old and new vampires. She later co‑hosted the VampCon trial by combat in Las Vegas, where her flair for provocation — especially toward Buffy and Spike — was on full display.

When a manipulated video framed her for the Dolan Spring massacre, Vicki went to ground with her pack beneath the Congress Bridge. Confronted by Buffy, she defended her innocence and revealed she had been herded into a town already dead and saturated with magic. Buffy urged her to flee the country and trust that the truth would surface, leaving Vicki once again navigating the thin line between predator, survivor, and reluctant ally.
