BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON ELEVEN
ANGEL SEASON ELEVEN
September 2009 – May 2010

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON TWELVE
Late 2011
The Reckoning occurs.

After 2011
After the climatic Battle of the Reckoning, the world is forever changed. The Slayers disappear and the connection to the Slayer lineage is lost. The world is overrun with demons and no new Slayers can be called [Ready, Steady…]. Without the Slayers to protect the world, demons inherit, humans become second class citizens. Technology continues to grow. Climate change ravages the planet, and human beings begin to die or mutate from radiation in the atmosphere.
DISTANT FUTURE
23rd Century
By the 23rd century, humanity survives in scattered patches across ruined cities. New York is now Haddyn, a sprawling technological metropolis where the wealthy live above and the poor below. Vampires, known as Lurks, rule the streets.
No Slayers have been called for two centuries since the events of the Reckoning. Whispers persist of a lone survivor.
Twins Melaka and Harth Fray are born. Their parents die young, leaving them to be raised in poverty by their older sister Erin in the Versi district of Haddyn.
One night, the twins are attacked by a Lurk named Icarus. Harth is bitten but claws free, while Melaka escapes [Ready, Steady…; Out of the Past].

Erin becomes a law officer.
On her sixteenth birthday, Melaka — now a thief working for aquatic mutated human Gunther — discovers her super strength. A mysterious man immolates himself, declaring her the Chosen One [Big City Girl].
Melaka is approached by Urkonn of the D’Avvrus, a demon claiming to be a Watcher. He explains the Slayer line, the Watchers, and the final Slayer of the 21st century who fought the Reckoning, banishing all demons and magic from Earth. With no demons left, she was the last Slayer to be called [Ready, Steady…].

Harth resurfaces, revealing that while Melaka inherited the Slayer’s power, he received the Slayer dreams and knowledge. Urkonn helps Melaka claim the Scythe and tells her of the Reckoning [Alarums].
Horrified by the existence of a new Slayer, Harth orders Melaka’s death. Icarus fails and is crushed by a falling car [The Gateway].
Harth summons a demon, but Melaka kills it. Harth escapes. Now wielding the Scythe, Melaka kills Urkonn for betraying an ally and resumes her work with Gunther, while patrolling Haddyn’s nights [All Hell].

Melaka discovers an old library filled with Watcher Diaries. She moves in, sharing it with its previous occupant, a mutated monkey she names Gates [Tales].
Harth is approached by a new ally who claims knowledge of the Slayers.

Melaka is stunned when Buffy Summers appears in Versi, wielding a Scythe and claiming to be a Slayer from the past. Buffy learns she was lost in the Reckoning, though the conflict itself remains unnamed.
Harth’s ally is revealed as Willow, dark and driven insane by her failure to save Buffy. She opened the portal to the past to bring Buffy to the future and begs Buffy to kill her. Buffy refuses but is ultimately forced to. Melaka watches as Buffy returns to her own time, worried that this knowledge may reshape her present [Time of Your Life].
Harth begins receiving new dreams of the Reckoning. He starts to plan… [One Year Later].
