“I don’t want to wake up staring down the speaker of his boom box because you grazed him.”
Mag

Three weeks since the world ended.
Zone, Griff and Mag are holed up in a hardware store. A Wielder appears outside – not a Butcher, but still dangerous. Zone shoots through the window, startling the newcomers. They choose to stay, fearing what’s out there more. Mag notices the Hollywood Hills transmitter flashing red.

Terri and Ben investigate a noise in the camping aisle. A radio is still tuned in. The screech hits before anyone can move. Griff, Zone and Mag rush to help, but it’s too late. The imprint has already taken hold.

On the road to D.C., Alpha explains Echo’s importance. Trevor learns she’s like him – her brain holds everything. She’s the key to blocking imprinting. Alpha avoids explaining why he can’t do it himself. Ivy 3 hints at guilt buried deep in his head.

Suddenly, the truck swerves. Ivy 2 has been imprinted. The group exits, searching for her. Trevor spots a base under siege by Butchers. The fence collapses. Rossum’s army is growing.
Ivy urges retreat. Ivy 1 wants to go after Ivy 2, but Alpha refuses.

Trevor breaks away, finds Ivy 2, and disables her quietly. A Wielder attacks with a makeshift device, but is shot before it activates. Trevor, having swapped out his hearing for tactical skills, can’t hear Alpha. When he restores it, he insists Ivy 2 can be saved.

They race back to the truck. Alpha decides to access Ivy 2’s mind to uncover Rossum’s plans. Ivy 1 and Trevor take the front; Alpha and Ivy 3 prepare to work in the back.

In Los Angeles, Zone blames himself for Terri and Ben’s deaths. Mag tries to reassure him, but he’s resolute. He declares a new policy: destroy all tech. When Mag protests, he lashes out violently. Griff believes Zone is chasing death.
Trevor drives, barely seeing over the dashboard. They’re under fire. Alpha struggles to work – Ivy 2’s brain-map is encrypted. Every attempt to access her mind fails.

A bazooka is fired. Trevor swerves, avoids the blast, and scatters equipment across the road. The truck halts. Ivy 2 appears with a Wielder device. Ivy 3 knocks her out before it activates. Alpha stares blankly, clearly affected.

Ivy 3 checks if he’s been imprinted. Alpha resists, claiming his internal personalities are holding strong. As they exit the truck, Alpha falters. The Ivies raise their weapons. Trevor intervenes, refusing to let them kill Alpha.
Alpha references Directive Four. Ivy 3 prepares to act, but Alpha stops her. He’s not imprinted – but he understands the directive. Rossum’s army exists to stop Echo. Their destination shifts: Tucson, Rossum Headquarters.

Alpha interrogates Ivy 2, sensing the voices in her head. His own voices begin to speak aloud, revealing his internal struggle. He tells himself that his personalities won’t allow Ivy 2 to be harmed.

Then, moving with unbelievable speed, he twirls around with a blade in his hand and kills her.
She drops instantly. Blood hits the sand.
Alpha stands in the sun, looking down at Ivy. He smiles a sinister smile…
