Those were the words that Sarah Michelle Gellar used to 15-year old actress, Ryan Kiera Armstrong as she welcomed her today on her Instagram… as the next Vampire Slayer.

Ryan has come through the auditions and secured the part of the still-unnamed Slayer, but when Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar asks you if you want to stand by her side as she saves the world, you know from your history as a fan, that you’re never going to say no!

And New Sunnydale? Has the town been rebuilt? What other surprises are in store as we begin this journey, with the pilot now officially happening at Hulu with Chloe Zhan and Nora and Lilla Zuckerman? We know Sarah will appear as Buffy at some point, but that’s pretty much it for now.
