Clive Ambrose

Played by Phillip Casnoff

INFORMATION

Authority. Façade. The polished surface of corporate control. Clive Ambrose was not a creator, not a participant in the chaos of the Dollhouse – he was the architect of its justification, the reassuring voice of logic behind its moral erosion. He did not wield the technology, but he ensured its existence, dressing up manipulation as progress, ethics as obstacles. To him, power was not a question of morality, but of efficiency. And yet, even the most controlled systems have fractures. When the Dollhouse crumbled, when the world saw through the illusion, Ambrose did not face judgment – he vanished, dissolving into the same shadows that had concealed his work. Some monsters build with blood; others, with paperwork.

Welcome to The Watcher’s Guide, a resource, quite fittingly, back from the dead!

The original website shut down in 2004, following the cancellation of Angel. Now with a new show set in the BuffyVerse eagerly anticipated by fans old and new and featuring the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy, it’s time to spruce up The Watcher’s Guide for a new generation.

All the episodes have been added, along with notes, biographies and continuity references. But as always, one question remains… Where Do We Go From Here?
