After the Fall

In an alley behind the Hyperion Hotel, Angel, Spike, Illyria and a dying Gunn stood their ground. The dragon roared in the sky as an army of demons, set upon them by the rather peeved-off Senior Partners of Wolfram & Hart – hundreds, if not thousands – advanced towards them. Angel told his team the plan: “Well. Personally, I want to slay the dragon.”

He raised his favourite broadsword, the one Doyle had given him all those years ago. He gave what he assumed would be his final order: “Let’s go to work…” He swung the blade…
