Dollhouse delves into a secretive, futuristic organization known as the Dollhouse. Operated by the morally questionable Rossum Corporation, it wipes the identities of its operatives, known as “Actives” or “Dolls,” and implants them with temporary personalities and skills to fulfil clients’ unique requests. These missions range from thrilling heists to emotional reconnections.

Echo, is one such “Active.” However, as the season progresses, Echo begins to experience traces of her previous memories and develops a growing sense of self-awareness, defying the Dollhouse’s control. Alongside a mysterious rogue “Active” named Alpha, Echo’s journey becomes a rebellion against the manipulation and ethical quandaries of the Dollhouse’s existence.
