Illyria, an ancient and powerful demon once worshipped as a god-king, was resurrected in modern times through the most tragic of circumstances. After the death of Fred, Illyria used her body as a vessel, erasing much of Fred’s essence and leaving her friends devastated. Though Illyria’s arrival was marked by destruction and chaos, she became an unexpected ally to Angel and his team.

Struggling to adapt to a world far removed from her former reign, Illyria grappled with her diminished powers and newfound sense of humanity. Her interactions with Wesley, in particular, brought out a vulnerability that hinted at the remnants of Fred within her. As the battle against the Circle of the Black Thorn loomed, Illyria fought alongside Angel Investigations, proving herself as much a part of the team as the woman whose body she now inhabited.
