Glory

“How do they function here like this in the world with all this bile running through them? Every day it’s whoo-oo. You have no control. They’re not even animals, they’re just these meatbaggy slaves to, to hormones and pheromones and their, and their feelings. Hate ’em! I mean really. Is this what the poets go on about, this? Call me crazy, but as hard-core drugs go, human emotion is just useless! People are puppets! Everyone getting jerked around by what they’re feelin’. Am I wrong? Really, I want to know. Gonna bleed you either way.””

From the pits of some dark Hell dimension, the demon Goddess Glorificus became too powerful for her fellow Gods to control and ultimately they cast her away from her dimension. For over twenty years she was bonded to the human Ben Wilkinson, and routinely morphed his body into that of a beautiful woman with a clear love for pain, destruction and shoes. Having to feast on the life energy of people to survive, Glorificus, or Glory as she preferred to be called, wrecked havoc for years, attempting to locate the Key to her home dimension with the aid of her demon disciples. Even with her ‘brother’s’ intervention, Glory outsmarted Ben, eventually tracking the errant monks who had hidden the Key to Sunnydale. The Key had been transformed into human form, more specifically that of Dawn Summers, sister to Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. Glory’s initial confrontations with Buffy proved devastating as Glory proved too powerful. In the months that followed, Dawn eluded Glory, who also met resistance in the form of Ben. Ultimately, Glory discovered the Key’s identity and snatched Dawn. Dawn’s flowing blood was required to create a portal to her home dimension and even though the portal was opened, Glory never managed to get home. Defeating her to a standstill, Buffy watched as Glory morphed into Ben and unable to kill Ben, she raced to her sister’s aid. Giles however had no such qualms and to prevent Glory from returning to plague them, he suffocated Ben, trapping Glory wherever she had retreated to.
