From sassy cheerleader to vicious bitch, reluctant Scooby to Champion, Cordelia Chase has had the most incredible transformation over the course of eight years. After the destruction of Sunnydale High, Cordelia left for Los Angeles, and despite her dreams to become an actress, became involved with Angel and his detective agency that specialised in the supernatural.

Falling in love with each other, Angel and Cordelia worked side by side, with her visions from the Powers That Be alerting her to the evils that they would face. Eventually, Cordelia ascended to a higher plane of existence. This was a ploy however, and Cordelia returned, her body host to a vicious entity known as Jasmine. The birth of this creature left Cordelia in a coma where she remained until, finally, the Powers awoke her and sent her on a final mission to bring Angel back to them. After the battle was done, Cordelia left with a kiss and a vision that proved pivotal to Angel’s mission, and said goodbye to the mortal world as she died.
