First Appearance: First Date

A Native of China, Chao-Ahn was brought to Sunnydale by Giles when the agents of the First were eliminating the Slayer line and all those involved with it. Chao-Ahn did not speak a word of English, was lactose-intolerant like most from her homeland and was shown pictures, drawn rather crudely by Giles, that attempted to describe her situation. She was led into a trap by Faith at a point when Buffy was ousted from their presence, but presumably survived to fight alongside Buffy as a Slayer in her final battle against the First. It is unknown whether she survived the conflict.
