Adam

Played by George Hertzberg

INFORMATION

Created by the Initiative scientists Maggie Walsh and Dr. Angleman, Adam it seems was designed to be the ultimate weapon. Created from human, demon and robotic parts, the cybernetic hybrid turned on his creators and killed them. For weeks in 2000, Adam went on an experimental rampage, killing things, people and demons, in a simple attempt to find out how they worked. Allying himself with several vampires, including Spike, Adam prepared to lock himself and his clan inside the Initiative complex beneath Lowell House and let the demons loose. After the ensuing massacre, Adam would collect the pieces and assemble his own hybrid army. It was a good plan in theory: after all, Buffy herself couldn’t stop him. When Buffy came to fight her enemy, Adam was unprepared for her strategy – Buffy and her friends combined their will with that of Sineya, the First Slayer and Buffy became empowered with demon powers. During the battle that followed, she outsmarted Adam and ripped out his uranium power core, killing him instantly.

Welcome to The Watcher’s Guide, a resource, quite fittingly, back from the dead!

The original website shut down in 2004, following the cancellation of Angel. Now with a new show set in the BuffyVerse eagerly anticipated by fans old and new and featuring the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy, it’s time to spruce up The Watcher’s Guide for a new generation.

All the episodes have been added, along with notes, biographies and continuity references. But as always, one question remains… Where Do We Go From Here?
